A checklist for admins setting up a new Metal workspace. Metal guides you through this from Settings → Setup. Metal creates your organization’s workspace when your firm starts using the product. There is no in-app or public API flow to create a new organization. If your firm does not have a workspace yet, contact your Metal representative or support@metal.ai. Once the workspace exists, an admin completes the setup below.

Open the setup checklist

Go to Settings → Setup (under the Getting Started group). The checklist walks you through connecting data and configuring how Metal classifies and scores deals.

1. Connect your data sources

Connect file storage and CRM so Metal works with the systems you already use. See Integrations overview.

2. Add your team

Request accounts for your colleagues and group them into teams. See Adding & managing users.

3. Configure your taxonomy

Set the deal stages, statuses, and labels that match your firm’s process. See Taxonomy.
